Along with other updated 5 Series, BMW also presented the renewed M5, which has the additional Competition package, new equipment features and the revamped BMW ConnectedDrive.
It is equipped with the same V8 4,4-liter engine of 560 horsepower, combined with the 7-speed M gearbox. However the Competition package has 575 horsepower and it is available with carbon ceramic brakes.
Xenon lights with active LEDs are found at the extra equipment. Inside there is redesigned three-spoke leather steering wheel with the space under the armrest of the center console being increased. The iDrive selector now has chrome color, while the touch system isincluded in the extra equipment.
From July, BMW will offer new colors (Pure Metal Silver, Pyrite Brown metallic, Frozen Blue metallic and matte shades), while inside there will be three new leather colors (beige cashmere and Nutmeg).
