The new Nissan GT-R Nismo has already started testing and in accordance to the vice president of Nissan, it will be the fastest GT-R ever built.
The vice president of Nissan, Andy Palmer, confirmed that the GT-R Nismo will become the fastest GT-R ever built. However, most of the technical elements remain uncovered. The development and construction of the new GT-R was performed under the supervision of the racing department of Nismo. Additionally, the Nismo engineers are themselves taking part in the Japanese Super GT Championship.
“The big difference compared to the stock model is the exterior design, which reduces air resistance and enhances the downforce,” said Andy Palmer. Also, the Vice President added that the new GT-R Nismo will defy the already excellent time of the “simple” GT-R at the famous circuit of Nurburgring. Bear in mind that the “simple” version of the GT-R delivers 541 horsepower.
