Audi announced the R8 LMX, a special version of the R8 that is equipped, for the first time in a production car, with laser light fixtures.
It is also equipped with the V10 5,2-liter 570 hp engine with 540 Nm of torque, allowing it to do the 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and to have a top speed of 320 km/h, with an average consumption of 12.9 liters/100 km and 299 g/km emission of CO2.
The engine is mated to a 7-speed S Tronic gearbox, which sends power to all wheels. These consist of 19 inch rims with tires size 235/35 front and 305/30 rear, into which we find 380 mm carbon-ceramic brakes with red calipers.
The Audi R8 LMX is painted in the new blue color Ara Blue, has a large CFRP spoiler that increases the downforce on the rear axle and a front spoiler, a bonnet, side mirrors,a diffuser and air intakes made of the same lightweight material (CFRP).
On the interior it features black leather Nappa/Alcantara upholstery with blue details, a black roof, black/blue mats, decorative matte carbon, aluminum door sills and aluminum details, along with the serial number of each car.
It will be available by the summer and it will come in a limited production of 99 units (all coupe) and in Germany its price will start from € 210,000.
