Before three months, at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este the company presented the 2002 Homage, the special version of the M2 to celebrate 50 years since the release of the original 2002 Turbo, that was painted in a blue color.
Now the company presented the car with an orange livery. The prototype combines the ultra stylish fashion retro elements of the 2002 Turbo, with the modern lines of the M2 Coupe, on which it is based.
A characteristic design feature borrowed from the 2002, in front of the concept, are the graphics of BMW Motorsport and the “turbo” lettering, while the visual effect of the wider body kit is completed with the multi-spoke 20-inch wheels.
BMW did not give details on the technical characteristics of the car, but since it is based on the M2, logically it is wearing a 3-liter twin turbo six-cylinder in-line engine, producing 370 hp.
