Every year the students of the department of International Center for Automotive Research of Clemson University cooperate with a car company, in building a concept car from scratch.

This year they collaborated with General Motors and the result is the Deep Orange 5, a car that was unveiled at the Renaissance Center of GM. The car is intended for young drivers and students and if it would pass in production it would have a very low price.
It features sliding doors with double hinges, while its interior is equipped with a fully digital dashboard for the driver and front passenger and four seats that rotate around their axis. It also has the ability to display messages on the outside through screens located in the doors.
