This is the F-Type Project 7, the special car of the Special Operations Division of the Jaguar which will debut at the end of the week at Goodwood.
The car is the fastest and most powerful production car built by Jaguar equipped with a supercharged V8 5,0 liter engine producing 575 hp with 680 Nm of torque, combined with an 8 speed automatic transmission, with the 0-100 km/h coming in 3.9 seconds.
Compared to the simple F-Type, it has a thicker anti-roll, thicker joints in the front suspension, active suspension, harder springs, carbon-ceramic brakes and a torque distribution system. It borrows several design elements from the Project 7 Concept having a carbon rollover in the passenger seat, windshield and an aerodynamic body kit that produces 177% more downforce compared with the convrtible F-Type at 299 km/hour.
Production will be limited to 250 units, with the first deliveries to be made by mid-2015.
