Land Rover at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will present the production version of the Range Rover Sport SVR, described as the strongest and fastest Range Rover ever built, whose sales will start in 2015. The SVR will be used in all future high-performance models of the Special Operations department.
The Range Rover Sport SVR prototype features a new body kit consisting of new bumpers, a diffuser, side skirts, new grille and a spoiler. The quick version of the Range Rover Sport, also has quad tailpipes, big wheels, sports suspension and Brembo brakes.
It is equipped with a 5.0 liter V8 supercharged engine producing 550 hp and 680 Nm of torque, derived from the Jaguar XKR-S, which allows it to do the 0-100 km/h in about 4.8 seconds having a top speed of 265 km/h.
