Mercedes is interested in building an electric crossover, with the CEO of the company, Dieter Zetsche, characterize this type of car as “interesting.”
Zetsche did not reveal on which model the electric crossover will be based, but it is likely that it will be build on the next generation of the GLE. The car will be produced to compete with the upcoming Tesla Model X.
