Mercedes-Benz has announced that from now until 2020, they will invest about €1 billion at their plant in Rastatt to produce the next generation of the company’s compact models.
The company did not disclose when these models will be launched, but they said that the money invested will be used for the “substantial increase” in production and for hiring 250 new, permanent employees.
