Mercedes will present officially in January the E-Class Coupe at the Detroit Motor Show. The model will have a similar design to that of the C-Class Coupe and S-Class Coupe, a sloping roofline, different rear lights and a slimmer design at the back.

It will be based on the MRA platform and it will be offered with the same engines as the E-Class Sedan. Later, in March at the Geneva auto show, the company will present the convertible version of the E-Class, with the E63 AMG Coupe and Cabriolet to be presented later in 2017.
