According to rumors Honda is preparing the Si version of the new American Civic, with the model to the released in the market in late 2016. It will be equipped with the 2 liter turbo engine of the Civic Type R, which will produce close to 230 hp and it will be combined exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The same rumors also say that the new Civic Type R will be released in the US in the summer of 2017 and that it will be powered also by the same 2 liter turbo engine, but it remains unknown whether it will be offered only as a hatchback, or a sedan version.
