After the spy video of the long version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (S600) that we saw last week, another spy video was uploaded on YouTube this time featuring the new S65 AMG with the elongated wheelbase.

So far we know that it will be named Maybach and that it will be presented sometime in 2014, becoming practically the answer of Merceceds to the Bentley Mulsanne and the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Probably it is going to cost around € 200.000 and is sure to be equipped with what is available in the lists of the S-Class while the logic imposes some kind of variation in design compared to the “simple” S-Class, but further information is available.
The wheelbase will be at 200 mm longer than that of the S-Class LWB, with its length reaching 5.500 mm and having a third row of windows on the doors, the same as in the S-Class and S-Class LWB. It will be equipped with the same engine as the S65 AMG that produces 630 hp and 1000 Nm of torque.
The new S-Class, which already counts 30,000 orders will be available in 6 versions, 4 sedan versions, one coupe and one cabrio, the sedan has four different wheelbase of 5.12 meters, 5.25 meters, 5.45 meters and 5.9 meters.
