1968 Shelby Mustang GT500KR for sale

The Ford Mustang is considered by many, as the clearest example of a classic muscle car that can attract anyone, with its beauty and power. A classic Mustang without any rust and in a good condition is hard to find and a 1968 GT500 KR is even harder to find, since it was produced in only 1000 units.

The car that you see in the main picture is up for sale on eBay. Its story starts back in 1968, when Ford engineers, influenced by the victories at Le Mans, wanted to take the already strong GT500 and make it even stronger. The end result was the GT500 KR where KR means King of the Road.

The car was equipped with a 428 Cobra Jet V8, which produced 335 hp and 594 Nm that passed to the rear wheels via an automatic transmission.

This GT500 KR has traveled 64,000 miles and it has had three owners. At the moment the highest bid is at $51,100, without the reserve price being reached yet.
