The Plymouth Roadrunner Super Bird, is a very rare car, with only 1,920 cars to be produced, so that the car could get the homologation for NASCAR.
Only 308 cars were equipped with the Hemi 440 engine and a 4 speed transmission. An Super Bird in immaculate condition, havin traveled only 26,135 miles is up for sale on ebay. The car is painted on its original color and had only two owners from 1970.
The car is very rare not only because it is one of the 308 built, but also because most of the Super Birds were involved in crashes, or just forgotten and let to rust, so that means that less than one third of the original 308 cars can be salvageable today and many one tenth of the cars are in a fair condition.
