Next Thursday, Cadillac will present at New York the new CTS and official teaser pictures of the car were published on the internet. The design looks modern with LED lights and the car itself seems to have grown in size.
Under lies a twin turbo 3.6 liter V6 engine with 420 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque which is based on the GM V6 3,6 liter. The engine featurs new connecting rods, aluminum pistons, intercooler and a new sprinkler system. It will be combined with a new 8 speed automatic transmission, with the 0-96 km/h being comlpeted in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 274 km/h.The car will also be available with a 2.0 liter turbo engine with 272 horsepower and an atmospheric V6 3,6 liter engine with 321 horsepower.
The production of the 2014 CTS will take place at the Lansing Grand River Assembly factory in September of 2013 with sales brgining at 2014.
