The Automobili Turismo e Sport (ATS) was founded in 1963 by a group of disgruntled employees of Ferrari and generally they did nothing, but 50 years later, the name came from the dustbin of history and they presented the Sport 1000.

Two years after the launch of the Sport 1000, it’s time to renew it. The ATS, says the 2015 Sport 1000 benefits from 100 changes. It is now built on a new chassis from stainless steel that weighs about 50 kilos less than its predecessor, the body is slightly redesigned resulting in a new look and better aerodynamics (up to 1,200 kilos of downforce according to the manufacturer), the suspension is of Ohlins, brakes of Tarox and the limited slip differential of Quaife.

The Sport 1000, can accommodate almost any four-cylinder motorcycle engine, but if you do not want to look for yourself, ATS can provide you with a 1.3 liter engine producing 185 hp enabling the car to do the 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, while with slick tires, the Sport 1000 is capable of producing 3g of lateral acceleration. If you do not want this engine, the ATS offers also a 1.4 liter engine with 235 hp and a 1.6 liter with 255hp. The list of additional equipment includes carbon fiber panels for the bodywork, upgraded brakes and many more.
