Volkswagen presented the renewed Polo GTI, before its official debut at the Paris motor show next week.
The model is instantly recognizable and stands out from the rest of the range with its sport bumper and red accents. There are similar differences in the back where we see a new, sport bumper and dual exhaust tailpipes.
The sport touches continue in the interior where the steering wheel is flat at the bottom and the seats are new and covered with fabric. There are many other changes but those that stand out are the black and red decorative stiches.
As for the drivetrain of the car now, the engine is a 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 192 hp and 320 Nm of torque, combined with either a 6-speed manual gearbox, or an automatic DSG dual clutch transmission. The 100 km/h from a standstill comes in just 6.7 seconds while the top speed is 236 km/h.
