SsangYong presented at this year’s Paris auto show, the LIV-2 concept, which essentially shows us the design of the new Rexton, that will be officially presented next year and it will be a large premium SUV.

To SsangYong LIV-2, is an evolution of the LIV-1, which was presented in 2013 and its name comes from the words Limitless Interface Vehicle, which means that it is a vehicle with unlimited possibilities.

The SsangYong LIV-2 is equipped with a 2.2 liter diesel engine producing 181 hp with 420 Nm of torque. Its interior is designed to create the feel of a modern luxury living room and it integrates a communication system with three screens, wi-fi and it supports Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto. Overall, the infotainment system can be configured from a touch panel and it offers high quality surround sound.

Moreover, the car is equipped with sophisticated security systems, such as the autonomous braking system (AEBS), using a radar, a laser and a camera mounted on top of the windshield. Also it has a traffic safety assistance system (TSA) and an automatic by-headlight activation (HBA), a lane departure warning system (LDW) and a blind spot diagnosis system, which helps the driver avoid a collision.
