According to rumors Ferrari will keep the V12 atmospheric engine for the successor of the F12. The new F12 is expected to be presented in 2019 and it will be equipped with an upgraded version of the current 6.3-liter V12 engine.
The same rumors say that the new F12 will use an electric motor, to improve fuel economy and to slightly increase efficiency.
The replacement of the F12 is expected to be faster than the current F12tdf that produces 770 hp and it will deliver close to 800 hp. The new F12 will have a lighter and smaller chassis that will make it more suitable for the track.
