BMW presented the M4 DTM Champion Edition, to celebrate the second championship won by Marco Wittmann in DTM. This special version of the BMW M4 will be released in just 200 units worldwide, with its price starting from €148,500.
Mechanically it delivers 500 hp with 600 Nm of torque, 69 hp and 50 Nm of torque more than the simple M4 and it is able to do the 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, with its top speed reaching 305 km/h. It is equipped with the water injection technology of the BMW M4 GTS and it is available exclusively in a Alpine White color.
It has special M stickers, a carbon splitter, carbon mirrors, carbon canards on the bumper in front, side skirts and a carbon rear spoiler. Its hood, roof, diffuser and some body panels are made of CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), while its quad exhaust tailpipes are made of titanium.
It stands on 19-inch wheels at the front and 20-inch at the rear, with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized 265/35 and 285/30 respectively. The braking system consists of carbon-ceramic discs, while its coilover suspension can be adjusted manually.
Its interior features M bucket carbon seats clad in leather and Alcantara, an Alcantara M Sport steering wheel, Alcantara upholstery, racing seatbelts and a roll cage. The standard equipment includes air conditioning, active LED lights with an automatic high beam function, rear OLED lights, park distance control front and rear and the BMW Professional navigation system.
