If you like Chinese cars, then you will be interested in the BYD Tang, a new performance SUV recently exhibited at Beijing. The SUV is equipped wuth a hybrid set consisting of a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine producing 205 hp with 320 Nm of torque and an electric motor producing 149 hp and 200 Nm of torque.
Combined the two engines produce 354 hp with 420 Nm torque, BYD says that the Tang is the most powerful hybrid SUV in the world. On the doors they have put the number 542, with 5 representing the seconds it takes to do the 0-100 km/h , 4 indicating the four-wheel drive and two the liters of fuel it consumes to travel 100 kilometers. The model will go on sale in China in the third quarter of the year, with a value close to 300.000 Yuan.
