At the Nürburgring Audi continues its development tests, for the second generation of the R8 with this mule wearing the V10 5,2 liter engine. The design of the new generation of the R8 is aggressive at the front, it features angular designed new Matrix LED lights with variable intensity, large air intakes, inflated fenders, active rear spoiler, diffuser and quad tailpipes.

The new R8 willbe presented in 2015, it will start being manufactured by mid- 2014, it will use the same layout with the Lamborghini Huracan. It will however have a larger wheelbase and larger tracks. Without any doubt it will use the same V8 and V10 engines that equip the current generation of the R8 and also the Huracan, the R8 will be available only as a four-wheel drive and only with an automatic 7 speed dual clutch transmission. Later a turbo version will be added.
