Veneno is probably the most extreme designed hypercar from Lamborghini, the special anniversary model of the 50th anniversary of the brand, which will be available in just 3 copies, each one in a different color (white, green and red ), which have already been sold for 3.1 million pounds (3.6 million euros).
The Veneno, which means poison in Spanish, can be driven on the road legally. The name, however, comes from a legendary bull of 1914, which killed the famous matador José Sánchez Rodríguez.
Stylistically it is not related in any way to the Aventador though it was built over the carbon Aventador’s monocoque chassis. It has a completely new design, that helps it achieve as much as possible vertical downforce. The luminaries are of similar design concept as those of the Audi R18 e-tron. It is equipped with racing rims, air intake in the roof, huge front splitter, diffuser and a large center fin and scarbon adjustable rear spoiler with LED luminaires. The body and the chassis is made of CFRP, the same material used for the construction of the Sesto Elemento.
The Veneno is equipped with a V12 6,5 liter engine from the Aventador which is modified to be able to produce 750 horsepower. The 7-speed ISR automatic transmission sends power to all wheels and helps the car achieve a top speed of 355 km/h, making it the fastest car that has been ever produced by the Italian company. The 0-100 km/h makes is completed in 2.8 seconds. It weighs 1,450 kg,
(125 kg less than the Aventador) and it has a weight ratio of 1.93 kg/horse.
At the interior it features Forged Composite carbon seats , a new dashboard and CarbonSkin carbon and alcantara decorations. The exhibition car will remain the property of Lamborghini and is painted in gray, with red accents while on the side while there are the colors of the Italian flag.
