Chevrolet unveiled the Niva concept, which debuts at the auto show in Moscow. The prototype shows us the design philosophy that will be featured at the next generation of the model, the car has a rough appearance, with a car snorkel, outdoor spotlights and winch for towing. It has a length of 4.316mm and a suspension with McPherson struts at the front and an independent rear suspension.
The Niva concept is the creation of GM and AvtoVAZ. The car will continue to have four-wheel drive without losing its rugged nature turning into a crossover. Chevrolet did not photograph the interior, but it will be more or less the same as their other models.
It will be equipped with a 1,8 liter engine of PSA producing 135 hp, which is combined with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The production model is set to launch this December.
