In the Moscow Motor Show, which takes place in these days, Datsun presented their new model, called mi-DO.
The car is based on the on-DO and essentially is the five-door hatchback version. The Japanese company describes it as “practical and sporty.” The mechanical parts of the car have the signature of the Russian AVTOVAZ. The production will take place in the city of Togliatti in Russia, in the factory of AVTOVAZ
Under the hood there is a relatively outdated 1.6 liter engine producing 87 hp combined with a manual gearbox of five speeds that sends the power to the front wheels, while there is an optional four-speed automatic. It has the same wheelbase of 2,476 mm. as the on-DO, but its length is smaller, reaching 3,950 mm.
The mi-DO will be released exclusively on the Russian market by early next year, with a value of less than 400,000 rubles.
