A very interesting proposal presented by Honda at the Montreal auto show, which could be a prologue and the advent of a new model.
Honda chose Montreal to present its view on a fun car that is aimed at young people.
The Gear concept described by the company “as a simple and useful model that is adaptable, connected to its time and full of personality.”
The Honda Gear Concept is a soupermini addressed to those ages between 20 and 35 years.
Inspiration for the concept car were the «fixed-gear» bikes, what we call “race bikes”, which due to their low weight are the choice of millions of young around the world to move easily in the city. The body of the car with the hidden door handles gathers sport features such as the rear diffuser and the quad exhaust tailpipe.
Honda has not released technical details of the engine of Gear concept, which was developed by Honda R & D America, under the guidance of Design Director David Marek.
