The medium length cabrio (almost 4.70 meters) will make its first international appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Classic four-seater, with elongated body and a soft top roof, it is expected to be available mid-spring.
The Edition will be available as standard with a varied range of equipment and technologies. The electric soft top roof opens via pushbutton, while the car is travelling up to 50 km / h in 17 seconds or by remote control when the car is stationary. The luggage compartment is 280 L and it increases to 380 L when the soft top is closed.
Standard equipment includes alloy wheels, rear lights with LED technology, new generation dashboard and leather steering wheel. The Park Pilot system helps the driver when parking in reverse with an audible warning signal.
The standard engine will be the 1.4 Turbo petrol with
120 hp and six-speed manual gearbox. Also it will be available in 1.6 SIDI Turbo (125 kW/170 hp) with next-generation direct injection, a civilized character and maximum torque of 280 Nm with overboost.
Cascada will be offered with ten exterior shades and three roof colors.There will also be ten different wheel designs and sizes from 17 to 20 inches.Cascada Buyers can choose between three different sets of entertainment and navigation functions.
Cascada will feature a wide range of engines.In terms of gasoline engines the 1.4 liter Turbo version with 120 hp and the 1.6 SIDI Turbo producing 170 hp with direct injection. In terms of diesel, the 2.0 CDTI ecoFLEX with 165 hp ensures optimal power and economy.
With six-speed transmission and Start / Stop,it will consume 5,2 lit / 100 km and will emit 138 g CO2/km. Like the 1.6 SIDI Turbo, the 2.0 Turbo diesel is combined with six-speed automatic transmission. The range will also feature the 2.0 BiTurbo CDTI ecoFLEX with 195 hp, a maximum torque of 400 Nm, manual six-speed gearbox and Start / Stop technology.
