Lamborghini gave the press release of the Egoista, the prototype was presented in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th birthday.

Designed by Chief Designer of Volkswagen, Walter de Silva, the one-off prototype car is a car inspired by the Apache helicopters. It is extremely lightweight, since it is constructed with carbon and aluminum and the cap can be removed completely.

Inside the cockpit everything is made of carbon and aluminum with Lamborghini indicate that Egoista features LED lights in the body, so that it looks even more like an Apache helicopter. Thus we find two white front lights, two red lights on the back a red flashing light on the top, two orange at the sides side, and two additional lights on the roof, one red and one green. Also on the front there are two xenon lights.

The hood is made of antiradar material, with  the glass of the car being painted orange, while the same antiradar material, is used for the wheels. At the interior there is a racing seat, four-point safety belts with straps in a different color and also a head-up display.

It is equipped with the V10 5,2-liter engine of the Gallardo, which produces 600 horsepower. Detailed specifications were not announced by Lamborghini though.
