Audi has decided to launch in the markets of America, Asia and Russia, a new petrol version of SQ5, which will be available in Europe as a diesel.
The SQ5 is fitted with the 3liter V6 TFSI producing 354 hp at 6,000 to 6,500 rpm with 470 Nm of torque at 4000-4500 rpm. The 0-100 Km/Hour is achieved in 5.3 seconds, with top speed electronically limited to 250 Km/Hour. According to Audi, the average consumption is around 8.5 km liters/100 km and CO2 emissions are 199 gr./km.
The Audi SQ5 features an 8-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel and StartStop system.The height of the car from the ground has decreased by 30 mm and is now equipped with 20 inch wheels,21-inch wheels are available on the extra equipment. The dynamic characteristics of the model in relation to the simple version of the Q5, is more than noticeable.Some of them are the typical black calipers with the SQ5 logo,the gray mask, the aluminum roof rails and the aluminum mirrors.The SQ5 will be available only in two colors Estoril Blue and Panther Black.
The interior is luxurious, without compromising the field of spaciousness (trunk capacity of 1,560 liters).The interior includes Sports steering wheel, Nappa leather and Alcantara, sport bucket seats, brushed aluminum details and a combination of aluminum and wood. The SQ5 will be sold in America, Canada, Russia, China, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Ukraine. For now, Audi seems to choose the sole disposal of the diesel version of the SQ5, for the European market.
