The new MG GTS was photographed live in China. The car is essentially the production version of the CS concept, and it is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbo engine producing 220 hp with 349 Nm of torque combined with a double clutch six-speed automatic transmission, with the 0-100 km/hour coming in 8 seconds.
The car is also available with a 1.5 liter engine producing 167 hp with 250 Nm of torque, combined with a 7 speed DCT automatic dual-clutch gearbox.
The new crossover of MG will go on sale in China in the first half of 2015 at a starting price between 120.000-160.000 yuan.
