MG presented the new ZS, a small crossover that will be the competitor of the Mazda CX-3 and the Nissan Juke. The new MG ZS will be sold worldwide in 2017. Its design has beautiful lines that give it a dynamic character and a sporty appearance.
It is based on the platform of the company’s largest SUV, the GS, that was presented last year. It will be offered with a three-cylinder 1.0-liter direct injection engine and a turbocharged 1.0-liter that produces 120 hp with 170 Nm of torque. The car will also be available with a 1.5-liter in two versions, producing 120 and 165 hp. It will likely be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission or with a 6-speed dual clutch automatic.
The car supports voice commands, through which somebody can close the sunroof, play music and set the temperature. Also it features a large sunroof with a length of 1.365 mm and a width of 870 mm.
