Nissan has released a teaser photo of their new concept car, called Sway, that will be presented at the Geneva Motor show.

The car will show us how the next generation of the European Micra will look like, since Nissan will have two versions of the Micra, one for the European market and one for the Asian market. Judging by the photo, the car will have a quite different design compared to the current generation. Obviously, when the production version will be presented, it will lose many of the futuristic elements of the concept, but the major design elements might be kept.
The next generation of the Micra will be manufactured in France, in the Renault factory at Le Mans. The production of the chassis of the car will begin in late 2016 and for this purpose the French company has invested €7 million for the purchase of new machines and tools in order to produce 132,000 units annually.
The new European Micra will be based on the modular CMF platform, with the Asian model to be manufactured in India, based on the old V-platform of Nissan.
