Sales of Maserati in 2014 have increased by about 137% compared to 2013, but in 2015 the company does not do so well until now.
Fiat has told employees that the factory in Grugliasco will work for 3 of the 4 weeks of the month, until July. The plant employs about 2,800 workers and it manufactures the Ghibli and Quattroporte. The FCA refused to comment on this, but they had predicted that the demand for models of Maserati in 2015 will remain stable. Therefore it is more a matter of stabilization and less a matter of drop in demand.
