Toyota presented exclusively for the Japanese market the updated Corolla Fielder and Corolla Axio, which are already available for sale.
The Corolla Fielder and the Corolla Axio features a large trapezoidal grille and new lights. There Corolla Fielder features two extra colors to the available palette (Orange Metallic and Cool Bordeaux Glass Flake), while the Corolla Axio is available in Vintage Brown Pearl Crystal Shine.
The Corolla is the first model of the company which will be equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense C safety technology package, which features a radar laser and a camera on the upper part of the windshield, reading the street and recognizing each object, car, pedestrian or cyclist. The package also features the Pre-collision System (PCS), the Lane Departure Alert (LDA) and Automatic High Beam (AHB).
The interior of the Axio and Corolla Fielder features a leather steering wheel and gear lever, piano black details and much more equipment.
The cars are available with a 1.5 liter engine with a fuel consumption of just 4.2 liters/100 km. On the other hand, the hybrid versions of the cars have a fuel consumption of 2.9 liters/100 km.
