Porsche presented at the New York auto show the new Boxster Spyder. The car features a new bonnet, new lights and a soft top roof that opens manually.
It is equipped with a 3.8 liter engine producing 375 hp, combined with a manual gearbox. The car is able to do the 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 290 km/h, having an average fuel consumption of 9.9 liters/100 km.
The interior features sport seats, a new steering wheel, with the radio and air conditioning, to be available in additional equipment, so that the standard equipment version can have a lower weight.
The car features improved steering, larger brakes from the 911 and a sport suspension. Its sales in Germany will start from July at a starting price close to €80,000.
