Maserati will present the Levante, the production version of the Kubang concept at the Detroit auto show in January of 2016. The SUV of Maserati will be based on the Ghibli and it will have an increased ride height, while it will also be wider.
The car will be available with three sets of engines, which will be a 3 liter twin turbo V6 producing 410 hp, a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 producing 530 hp and a 3 liter V6 turbo diesel producing 275 hp.
All engines will be combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to all the wheels via a sophisticated four-wheel drive system of Maserati. The car will have a starting price of €90,000.
