Zagato at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, will present the Maserati Mostro, that pays homage to the 1967 Maserati 450 S, known as “il Mostro”.
The car features a carbon chassis with a V8 engine, located between the front axle and the passenger compartment for better weight distribution. The engine is combined with a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox.
The Zagato Mostro is intended for the track and only 5 cars will be built, with rumors saying that each car will cost close to $1 million.
