Students of the University of Stuttgart managed to set a new Guinness world record in the 0-100 km/h acceleration with just 1.779 seconds, 0.006 seconds faster than the previous record. The four-wheel drive car that they used to break the record, is equipped with four electric motors producing 136 hp, powered by a battery of 6,62 kWh, with the car weighing 160 kilos, having a ratio of 1.6 kg/kW.
