The Nissan X-Trail has gotten a new 1.6 liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 163 hp at 5,600 rpm and 240 Nm between 2,000 and 4,000 rpm. This power enables it to accelerate to 100 km/h from a standstill in 9.7 seconds while its top speed reaches 200 km/h.

The Nissan X-Trail with this engine consumes 6.2 liters per 100 km and it emits 145 gr/km of CO2. This new engine will be available from this autumn with a front wheel drive system and a manual 6-speed gearbox.
