GM announced that they are recalling 31,685 Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia in USA, produced between August 18, 2015 and September 24, 2015, in which a short-circuit in the wiper motor may lead to fire.
GM stresses to the owners of these cars, to not use their windshield wipers until they can change the cover of the wiper motor. Of the 31,685 to recall cars, only the 6,405 have been delivered to customers. The rest are either in the factory or in the parking lot of dealers.
