Fiat announced that the Egea will be sold in Europe, under the name Tipo. The Fiat Tipo will go on sale in Italy from December, while in the rest of Europe, its sales will begin shortly thereafter.
The four-door car will be built at Fiat’s plant in Turkey and it will be available with two Multijet II turbo diesel engines and two gasoline engines, producing between 95 and 120 hp, combined with a manual or automatic transmission. The Fiat Tipo will be available with a 1.4 liter, petrol engine producing 95 hp and a a 1.6 liter with 110 hp.
Its interior will feature a stylish dashboard, with a silver stripe in its center, a three-spoke steering wheel and the Uconnect infotainment system, combined with a 5 inch touch screen.
