RenaultSport, is considering the expansion of its range, with Regis Fricotte, vice president of sales, marketing and communication of RenaultSport saying in an interview that the company is not just the Clio and the Megane.
The future of the sport sector of the French company is still uncertain, because Renault is extending on the SUV and crossover category, with RenaultSport not intending to present their respective versions of the Captur and Kadjar. The new sedan of Renault, the Talisman, could be an interesting project for RenaultSport, however, the midsize sport sedans do not have the glory they once had in Europe and the development of such a model does not seem to be the best solution for the French company.
In related news, the RenaultSport opened 26 dealerships in England that will sell exclusively, the sport models of Renault.
