Renault Sport, wants to keep its models more “old-school”, at least for now. The boss of Renault Sport, Patrice Ratti said in a recent interview said, that the investment cost, to develop hybrid technologies, is too big for Renault Sport.
A hybrid powertrain though may be used by the company in the far future as emission regulations are getting more stringent and also to improve acceleration.
