The BMW M3 E36 was released from 1992 to 2000 and it was available in coupe, convertible and sedan versions. It was equipped with a 3 liter straight six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine producing 286 hp and 320 Nm of torque, that enabled it to accelerate to 100 km/h from a standstill in 5.9 seconds and to have a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.
The car also had a variable valve timing system and a six-speed automatic sequential gearbox SMG, which was further developed when it was placed in the E46. You can see the special video that BMW has prepared for the M3 E36, below.
