Jensen presented a new GT model and the next year they are going to present the second generation of the Interceptor. The GT, which was presented as a clay model, is expected to be launched on the market in early 2016, it will be designed as a model combining the classic design of 70s Jensen and the new Interceptor 2.

The GT will be handmade and it will be available either as a two-seater, or as 2 + 2, the production of the car will be defined by the demand and the price while not yet finalized, will be in the range of £350,000.

According to the company, this model will be more focused on performance in comparison to the old Interceptor, but it will offer a level of sophistication well above the average muscle car. Rumors say that the car will be equipped with a supercharged 6.4 liter V8 engine of GM, with direct injection and VVTi system that delivers around 650 hp, combined with either a six-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic.

The design of the Interceptor 2, will have influences from classic Interceptor, but will go one step further. As the company itself states, the two models will have retro elements, but these will be limited by the design part.
