A new small motorcycle with a 110 cc engine was presented by Mahindra. With this model, Mahindra wants to claim a piece of the most popular category, the second largest market in the world, that of the small engine motorcycles. These motorcycles were almost half of all motorcycles sold last year in India, where nearly 14 million registered motorcycles!
According to Mahindra it has many positive aspects, that make it stand out from the competition models, such as the longest saddle of it’s class and the digital dashboard. It is also equipped with LED lights on the taillight and it has the greatest ground clearance of it’s category. The air cooled engine is 106 cc and it produces 8.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm and in accordance with the company it has a range of 79.5 kilometers.
The Pantero is available in three different versions with the cheapest having spoked wheels, a kick start and analogue instruments, the more expensive version has alloy wheels, a digital instrument panel and an electic starter. The price of Pantero starts at just $850.
