EPA, the Environmental Protection Agency of America announced that the American version of the Nissan Leaf has a range of 120 km, slightly improved compared to the 2012 model. After testing the 2012 Leaf, it had an average consumption of 99 MPGe (106 MPGe in the city and 92 MPGe out of town) and 117.5 km range, but the new model has a 130 MPGe consumption in city, 102 MPGe addition, average fuel consumption and 116 MPGe autonomy 120.7 km
The revamped Leaf is lighter and more effective. Stylistic changes are limited to new LED lights and new rims. It is available in 3 new exterior colors (Dark Metal Gray, Brilliant White Pearl and White) and inside there is a new multifunction display, upgraded Around View Monitor and new Plasma Cluster Ion air purifier which promises to eliminate odors and kill germs.
The luggage space is increased by 40 liters and there is the option of leather seats. Also available are heated seats and heated steering wheel. It has a new motor that is 30% smaller and 10% lighter, making the car weigh 80 pounds less.
