This is the updated Opel Insignia OPC which will be presented with the rest of the Insignia range at Frankfurt.
It is equipped with a V6 2,8-liter engine producing 325 horses with 435 Nm of torque, combined to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic that sends power to all four wheels via the Haldex with brakes being from Brembo.The car can complete the 0-100 km/h in 6 seconds(6.3 the Sports Tourer version)with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h
( 270 km/h without the limiter). The wheel drive system can alter the torque from 0 to 100% between the two shafts.
Stylistically it has acquired new bumpers, an improved suspension, the FlexRide system, a new rear axle and the ESP. At the interior it features Recaro bucket seats, the new infotainment IntelliLink system, new gear shifter, new steering wheel with paddles for the automatic gearbox and a new dashboard. In addition to basic information, it is also shows the pressure and oil temperature, battery levels, the throttle position, the braking force and the lateral accelerations on the optional 8 “screen of the new IntelliLink system.
