The production of the V40 Cross Country from Volvo has began.
The all-wheel drive T5 Turbo version is equipped with a 5 cylinder 2.5 liter petrol engine producing 254 hp and 393 Nm of torque. The V40 Cross Country has an 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 6.1 seconds, with consumption (acording to Volvo) to be at 7.8 lt/100 km.
The Volvo V40 Cross Country will also use the T4 1.6 liter GTDi engine of 180 hp with 270 Nm torque and a consumption of 5.5 liters per 100 km and CO2 emmisions are limited to 129 g/km.There will also be a version with a 2.0 liter 5 cylinder engine producing 180 hp and 295 Nm of torque.
The diesel versions will include: the 2.0 liter D4 5cylinder Turbodiedel engine capacity of , which combines performance with low consumption, and produces 177 hp and 400 Nm of torque, with a consumption of 4.4 lt/100 km and CO2 emmisions at 117 g/km in conjunction with the manual gearbox and 5.2 lt/100 km and 137 g/km of CO2 emmisions with the automatic gearbox (both are six speed).
The 2 liter D3 which produces 150 hp and 350 Nm of torque,the 1600cc D2 diesel engine with 115 hp and 285 Nm of torque with a consumption of just 3.8 lt/100 km and CO2 emissions of 99 g/kmAll the engines mentioned above will be fitted fitted with a Start/Stop system.
The T5 version of the V40 Cross Country, which is the only four-wheel drive version, will be equipped woth a 2,497 cc petrol engine that produces 254 hp.
