Nico Rosberg won his 11th pole position for this year, he was extremely quick, unlike Lewis Hamilton, who made mistakes that resulted him being on the second position. Valtteri Bottas came third and he was faster than Felipe Massa, who was followed by Daniel Ricciardo, Sebastian Vettel, Daniil Kvyat, Jenson Button, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso.
